Pros
Our department is well funded, so I made a competitive salary. Most of my coworkers were wonderful, and ASU is so large that there are lots of opportunities to collaborate.
Cons
The work environment was toxic and leadership was involved in unethical behavior and bullying/abuse. HR did little to address employee's concerns, and I ended up having to quit to escape the abuse. Overall, the experience was a nightmare, and I would never work at ASU again. If the leadership of your department is powerful enough, everyone is willing to look the other way when they abuse their staff.
