Pros

- good compensation and benefits, competitive in the location and industry - good work/life balance: there will be times you're working late but there will also be times where you are able to balance and work less - depending on the team and manager, very smart and easy to work with partners - employees first approach focus

Cons

- very financially driven company to the point where sales and product suffer which leads to lack of innovation and inability to course correct. Everyone consistently bends over backwards to meet Finance department requests with little appreciation and improvement. Everyone must commit to Finance deadlines but Finance does not commit back or even to their own, leads to a lot of spin and rework on other teams - top heavy leadership: lots of people at the top of the pyramid and lacking in employees who execute the vision. Company reprioritizing too often because of resource issues - HR asks new hires to leave glassdoor reviews in the first 90 days of employment which is not enough time to form a well rounded opinion on the company

Pros

Recently acquired by Arlo - really smooth and easy transition, friendly HR, great culture and everyone is easy to work with so far! Excited to be a part of the team.

None so far that I can see!

Almost all people you worked with

Cons

I would not recommend the QE department to anyone. The new director is the least effective manager I have worked with. Since taking over, she has significantly disrupted both the QE and development teams while implementing her own strategy, which has not delivered the expected results. From my perspective, team performance and morale have declined, and the company's stock price has fallen substantially during this period.
