Pros

I would rate the works difficultly and scale as medium. And the pay is on par wit the market. Also, the firm operates in a way unique from other firm in public accounting. Massage are offered in office in busy season

Cons

Micro management - they read all your emails, time entry. etc. You get calls from the team 8:30 am. You get pings as well. Budget must be follow dollar to dollar for each level. You better not surprise your boss for the time you charged. if you do, you are probably already doomed. audit are negative because their huge turn over. same goes with tax because their pod schedule are not followed and no one know what they are working on except a few of the favored team member. no well-being subsidy. no internet cell phone reimburse. you get your pay check, profit sharing, and that's it. Unlimited PTO is a scam, you either abuse it or you take it. They put it as unlimited so they don't have to pay you out when you leave, learned this from my friend that works in HR. A lot of the policy at Armanino are "cheap" to save the firm $ - i.e., see my note above for well-being subsidy. etc undecisive management and does not agree on basic things like whether the team s/b working from home or hybrid. even you manage to get on the one public client account, you would be stressing about billable hours goal because there are not enough work, for the record, you fight your team for hours.
