Our interview process includes questions about a candidate’s expected pay rate; we work to meet or exceed that rate wherever possible to arrive at an offer that both parties feel good about. A contractor agrees to the pay-rate before they join a contract. Artech negotiates a merit-based pay raise in the middle of the contract period (which is not customary) and passes the entire increase along to contractor. We’re sorry that our client’s budget couldn’t accommodate what you felt your market value was AFTER you had accepted the prior terms and had been working there for three months. Generally, reviews don’t occur until at least 6-12 months into employment. lastly, we are proud to say that we have many people working with Artech for over 10 years and we do value each employee.
