Our alternating channel work across phone, chat and email was implemented as a direct result of feedback from our team. The preference towards shorter blocks ensures no one gets phone or chat fatigue. While it may be more efficient in handling our call volume with longer blocks, we chose to take this route to improve our Customer Care Associates’ experience at work in the long run.
We’re hoping to become more and more flexible with how we work in the future. We’ve really seen a significant increase in the team’s retention and overall happiness levels so far and are always working on continuous improvement.
