      - Work experience - Brand name

      Cons

      - Overwork you to the brink of destruction - Grossly underpaid and reluctant to pay you overtime (despite just casually expecting you to work overtime) - No respect for lunch breaks (managers will call you up and schedule meetings whenever floats their boat) - Having an empathetic manager might lead to a better experience, I was unfortunate to have a robot as my manager

      Pros

      Working at Arup was a great experience, surrounded by smart, motivated, and mission-driven peers.

      Cons

      This may have since improved, but at least previously, the America's region felt rather second-class compared to UK. Most/all senior leadership, even in the US, was British.

      great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

      Cons

      insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
