Pros

-I'm not a huge "culture" guy as a lot of companies can sell this idea, but Asana truly gets it right and actually follows through with this. They make it seem like they actually care. -Great offices - World Trade Center in NYC, South Loop in Chicago with indoor basketball court on 17th floor, Their own building with secrete bar in SF and many others around the globe -Great Pay- (can always be better) but decent EAE here can actually hit OTE and great EAE can hit 400-500K. -Management is good -Clients love Asana. Never get on calls where they say, ah I dont like it.

Cons

-Very competitive. Project Mangement and Work Management tools are plentiful. Have to know your stuff. -Some of the compensation structure has been weird, but they do listen when they understand they are weird and have made changes based on feedback. -As normal - This can't be an AE review if we don't talk about how BDR/SDR org can be better.

Pros

There's real enduring culture where people care about doing really good work. The culture is friendly with strong camaraderie amongst the individual employees, and managers try to do right by their reports.

Cons

Quarterly reorgs, quiet role reductions, and slowly stripping away benefits has made morale worse than ever. It may have been worthwhile if the business was getting better, but it's pretty flat and attrition is very high. With the introduction of the new CEO, Dan Rogers, there's been a clear shift to hard capitalism and people as numbers. Problems have been solved in short-sighted ways, causing discontent even within the leadership ranks. The company was losing some steam beforehand, but now it's "a ship trying to make a sharp turn and keeling over, just barely not capsizing".
