Pros
You might luck out and get one other person you can commiserate with as you navigate the constant changes in processes. If you're extra lucky, they might be able to share some of the coping mechanisms theyve developed to deal with both the archaic tech systems and archaic leadership styles that continue to cause a max exodus of talent
Cons
Where to begin? Zero diversity in leadership positions continues to guarantee problems are only approached in considered from one perspective, despite continued failings of that perspective. Volume is crushing, as many open positions go unfilled - not surprising, considering the pay and benefits offered leave a lot to be desired. Employees with proven success working remotely for over two years are now being forced back into a disgusting, dirty, and depressing office space. As if that wasn't bad enough, company is happy to offer fully remote options to entice new hires, which is an absolute slap in the face to those with proven success and time-served. This is especially egregious given that there are literally no perks that come with seniority. No increase in PTO, stagnant pay growth, zero career advancement. It's incredible to be forced back into the office by the same leaders whose big, private offices loom at the end of each aisle, completely empty and unused. Completely bloated management that has absolutely no idea what they're doing or how anything works. Trying to explain what's broken or needs improvement is like trying to explain a budget surplus to Michael Scott. This is a company in crisis.A tech company with technologically-challenged leadership. It shows no signs of being able to navigate modern business landscape and keeps resorting to outdated methods. Wake up and smell the 2023 coffee.
