If you're lucky, they'll send you to China for peanuts. - Chemical Operator Ascend Performance Materials Employee Review

Pros

Pay is still good. Still have a 401k match. Work isn't hard.

Cons

Nobody that plans or schedules anything has any idea what they are doing. Rolling out new policies or programs or changes continues to be done either incompetenly or maliciously. Either way, everyone ducks and covers when anything gets rolled out. Safety is a joke. No one making policies regarding safety knows how to do the things they are telling people how to do. Nor do they consult people. They just roll out the new thing (see above). Everything is being channeled into starting a new plant in China. We can't afford to pay to keep our insurance the same, but we can build a new plant in China. They tell us we're not going to be negatively impacted by the new plant in China, but literally everyone knows that's a lie. They'd come out ahead just not talking about it. They offer you $6,000 a month to go over and help start that new plant.

- Lots of turnover, doing more with less - Still recovering from CH11 - No real bonus in years
