Pros

- Great field work opportunities - Knowledgeable staff - Good place to start

Cons

- If you don't have a master's degree, don't bother applying - Communication between management and staff was poor - During the busy times, management would change staff hours from hourly to salary to prevent overtime. - During the slow times, management would change staff hours from salary to hourly to control staff hours, which would go from 40 hours to 15-20 hours a week. - Expect to work on the weekends with tight deadlines (hours you don't get paid for).

Pros

Aspen Environmental is truly a standout company when it comes to workplace culture and employee satisfaction. From the moment you join the team, you feel welcomed and valued. The leadership genuinely cares about its employees, fostering an environment where collaboration and growth are prioritized. I appreciate how employee-centered the company is and that management actively listens to feedback, provides ample opportunities for professional development, and ensures that team members feel like an integral part of the company’s success. The supportive atmosphere makes it easy to thrive, and there is a real sense of teamwork and camaraderie across all departments.

Cons

It would be wonderful to have more in-person company activities, especially since the ones we've had so far have been enjoyable.
