Pros
Associa is the innovator and leader in the industry which makes things very exciting, as change is always happening. I get to work with talented people who are passionate about the industry. If you are wanting a fast paced environment where your opinion counts and every day is not cookie cutter but offers new challenges, this is the place to go. Also, you are not just boxed in with your day to day job duties, if you see something outside of your normal responsibilities that you can do to help improve a process or improve anything, they promote an environment for allowing you to do that. Just know what you now own that project or initiative and be careful what you are taking on so it does not consume and take away from why you were hired to begin with.
Cons
With innovation and constant change you are often setting the course in unchartered waters. That means working out bugs and process/system refinements often occur. That can be frustrating at times until you see the finished product be something much better than what we had before. Work/Life balance can also be a challenge at times, if you allow it. It is fast paced and sometimes running a marathon at a sprint pace can wear you down if you don't make sure you maintain that work/life balance.
