Pros
The physical environment was pleasant. It was a paycheck. That's all.
Cons
The community where I worked is under development, thus there are currently few residents. I mainly babysat the HOA clubhouse office. I never received training in a span of four months. I have never ever worked with such an impudent, disrespectful co-worker in my life as I did here. The person created a hostile work environment for me. I reported the incidents to my supervisor and eventually we had a conference call with HR (non-local person). HR took the PC approach that we all have to work together and respect each other. It was a useless meeting. There is no local HR person and no onsite management staff at the community where I worked. My supervisor is not based there and has the responsibility of managing numerous communities. There were lots of issues there, most of which had to do with it being a new community. Some clubhouse repairs took a very long time to be made. There were other personnel issues too. In seeing this company was voted one of the best to work for, I was excited to become a part of it when I was hired. What a disappointment where I worked!
