No support from upper management - Community Manager Associa Employee Review

Working in the HOA management industry is getting worse. Owners and Board Members are becoming more and more verbally abusive. I did not feel supported by my direct report supervisor. I was told to just get along with them and say whatever I could to make them happy. It did not matter if the Board was violating their own documents, or making purchases for the wrong equipment they needed. The last one was to the tune of $20,000+. I was told to keep my mouth shut even if they were being abusive and to just take it.
