Pros
Many member company locations, so if you move can apply for jobs in other cities.
Cons
Employee contribution is not rewarded financially. Salaries may be decent, but not when you consider the number of hours worked (60+ every week, on call 24/7). There was pressure to make regular paycheck contributions to AssociaPAC when the CEO was running for re-election (he was a state senator, lost the last election after 25 years of holding the position). No respect of employees by management. Be prepared to compromise your integrity if you want to move up. The company is successful, but at the expense of its employees. The money goes into the owner's pocket, not back into well-deserved raises for community managers. The company is led by two very selfish men, father and son. The personal lives of both offer insight into why the company is led the way it is. I don't see it changing any time soon, as long as it remains a private company. Be prepared to pay for health insurance outside the company. Using Associa's plan comes with astronomical costs, especially for families. It's cheaper to buy the same plan directly from the provider.
