Pros
Wonderful coworkers and good place to start- if you can work here, you can work anywhere. It all depends on the department you're working in and who your managers are. Many people are very happy at Assurant and have been working there for over 20 years.
Cons
This is a very stressful environment to work in. The customers are demanding, there is minimal training and knowledge transfer, and most employees are overworked. The compensation is not that great- take any talk of bonuses with a LARGE grain of salt.
