Pros
I've been to hell and back, trust me. I've worked on call center since I finished high school, and while this is not a call center it is somewhat resembling of it. However, the way I've been treated so far, I have no words. 2 months of paid training + buddy programs after to get help with things im not confident about. The environment is really nice. All my supervisors are understanding and very kind, while not pretending to be my friends. Ever since we joined we are encouraged to help each other as co-workers and there's not a single day I don't ask for help and there isn't at least three people jumping to help me, even in the middle of their own work! Honestly it's a very healthy place to work in. It's also very nice that our job is to actually HELP customers-- not try to protect then companies assets, which is what these jobs usually entails. We get reprimanded for not helping as much as we could in a call rather than saving the company money. I like customer service jobs where I can ACTUALLY help then customer and not just have my hands tied and tell someone with a problem 'sorry it is the way it is' It seems this is Assurant's way to face their business in general and honestly, I dig it!
Cons
A little bit disorganized and the pay isn't great, but I'd blame this more on the fact that our whole operation is fairly new and the country's economy (Not in USA) rather than corporate decisions.
