Cons
Everything was great until we had to sell their insurance. Then everything was about pushing the insurance and not about tech-support. If I wanted to be a sales person I would’ve applied for a sales job. It was always about ratings and we had to speak to the customer a certain way so they would give us a five star rating but if there was no way we could help then we wouldn’t get a five star rating. It was a double edged sword. Little communication with higher ups, very restricted on computer which inhibited helping customers to the best of my ability. Rules would change and we were not told. I often said “when did that change?” We were trained for phones when job is chat. I never even saw the chat platform until the first day I signed on after training. When a job says “able to work independently” that means: You’re on your own!”
