Pros
The overall culture of the average person is great. But people are great wherever you go, aren't they?
Cons
They had a DEI push about 4-5 years ago and as a result have over-promoted people who aren't as skilled into positions of (mis-)management. They've had a big public scandal of sexual abuse that was permitted by top levels in the company and covered over by HR until the disclosure grew too big to contain. The CEO wasn't contrite when it came out, he was angry. He talked about holding people accountable, but he sounded like a little kid mad because he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. They are a debt leveraged company and the core product is insurance. They've tried to venture into several other markets, but the efforts have fallen flat. They've now entered a repeating cycle of staff reduction and shipping work overseas, followed by further staff reductions and shipping more work overseas. Two cuts this year. Several cuts last year. Shuttering entire product lines. Buying up companies just to shut it all down a year later with nothing to show for it. The future doesn't look bright.
