Pros
Athens has a family atmosphere. I have worked for competitors in this industry and they don't appreciate their employees like Athens does. There are many perks including: monthly massages, free wifi, company potlucks and events, flexible schedules, team building, challenges and incentives, stretch breaks, Friday walks, committees, and happy hours. They promote a great work-life balance here, encourage active lifestyles, and give kudos to a job well done. There is also free onsite parking and the option to work remotely if you are in good standing. I feel like an actual person and not just a number. The system is user friendly as well which is a plus! I used to be a Claims Examiner III and went down to Assistant Claims Examiner because I really wanted to make the move and I am so glad I did.
