Pros
The people on my team that I have met are great.
Cons
I was sold on this company’s direct interview approach (versus the dreaded behavioral based questions) and emphasized speech on their focus on work life balance and the absence of a typical corporate toxic workplace environment. I have had my fair share of toxic workplace environments but this takes the cake. A condescending manager who talks over you. Accounts that demand entirely too much unnecessary work and having to answer to anywhere from 3 to 5 people involved on a claim all of whom are not even the insured or claimant. Your email inbox is constantly flooded, people are calling your phone 20 times in a row, and your manager has the audacity to ask why you are overwhelmed and then upon response continues to advise you that based on what you are assigned, you shouldn’t be. This is by far the most stressful claims position I have ever been in and I have been doing this for 12 years.
