Pros
Lunches, no major stress or workload, British etiquette which means no one shouts at you even if you make mistakes although the bosses can be quite sarcastic (in a funny way), Professional Development programmes, lots of training programmes and internal competitions, opportunity to travel to UK and Middle-East.
Cons
Off-shore work environment may lead to situations when you just spend weeks without having a holistic view of the project. Peer differentiation where one gets promoted for one doesn't for fairly similar performance and feedback. The two-way feedback between India and UK is a sham. You may succumb to the inefficiencies and miscommunication of the management and the project managers in UK. The work also tends to be repetitive where your qualifications (from NITs, IITs) are not valued in menial tasks. Oh that reminds me, a Masters' degree is of no value as the incentives offered are not in line with qualification but only experience. Also, there is no overtime (encashment) policy.
