Pros

None, five word minimum fulfilled.

Cons

This company is extremely mismanaged and has some pretty concerning issues at a company-wide level. Both companies and employees are seemingly acquired solely for the sake of growth with no real direction or purpose. Projects are consistently underbid by PMs to get work and fulfill the requirements of their job and budget cuts are pushed onto employees down the line to keep project budgets from dipping into the red. This issue not only occurs when bidding out to existing and new clients, but even more so when “bidding out” work to other “Atlas company” offices internally. Also, there are no company credit cards so get ready to have $2-5k in expenses hanging out on your personal credit card for 1-1.5 months while you wait to be reimbursed. Despite constantly getting emails about record growth and profits from corporate, there is absolutely no work, which is deeply concerning. Be warned - you will be hired into what seems to be a good position for your experience level and you will then be forced to work jobs that you are far overqualified for and have nothing to do with your career path. You will also be forced to travel for weeks at a time, often working through weekends even if that isn’t what you agreed to. There is no path for career growth above the level you’re hired at either no matter how hard you work or what you bring to the table (clients, marketable skills, etc.). Nearly everyone in at least one major office is planning to leave and multiple people that I have worked with from across the US are currently leaving or working to leave to work at other companies.

Pros

Work with amazing co-workers. Everyone gets along like a family.

Cons

Upper management seems disconnected from what’s actually needed at the local level to keep clients satisfied—we’re losing too many of them. It takes significant time and expense to start and finalize contracts, and delays are pushing clients to go elsewhere. There should be more flexibility to pursue smaller jobs so we can stay competitive with other companies. While landing six-figure contracts benefits overall profits, it doesn’t always support employees in the short term. Those larger projects often take time to secure, and in the meantime, smaller jobs are what keep people working and earning a steady income. That consistency is essential for covering everyday expenses like food, utilities, and other necessities. Relying on employees to use PTO or sick time to bridge these gaps isn’t sustainable—it eventually runs out. This leads to longer hours, fewer breaks, and little opportunity to rest or spend time with family. A better balance between large and small projects would help support both the company’s goals and the well-being of its employees.
