Pros
Remote work, I guess. Still not worth it.
Cons
I wrote a new trading system for this firm. For 8 months it traded fine in the test environment while their quant team stalled on the most basic C++ errors imaginable, like problems a 1st year university student would have. In my 1:1 I volunteered to help fix it every week for months and got ignored. None of the code I saw could even compile due to missing headers. Now I have a short tenure at this loser no-name company on my resume and it has been difficult to even get interviews. I wasn't the only one, about a third of the company was let go while I was there, they won't care about you at all. Their talk about milestones is garbage when you're dependent on some other silo. Don't make the same mistake I did, avoid this company.
