If your job is no longer needed or can be combined in another person's job, you're out of a job. No matter how good you were at it. Pay raises were non existent. Benefits were perfunctory, but not stellar. When my job was eliminated, I had to sign a waiver that I would not request mediation or bring a lawsuit for any reason against the company or I would not receive any compensatory pay. For being a privately held, family run company, they seem to neglect that it's PEOPLE who are making it work for them.
