Pros

I actually really enjoyed working here when I first joined. Good tech, use amazon tools, learn AWS, good culture. Experience depends highly on your manager but honestly just find out who the good managers are once you're here and switch to them, best way to be happy and it rewards the right people. I got lucky with a good one when I started.

Cons

Amazon culture creep. Required to put out " 1 code review a day" to get merged starting last month; amazon does this too- coding monkey vibes. Also, they track your badge swipes and will lay you off if you do not meet policy for a few months (fair I guess). Some people have terrible wlb, some are good. Depends on your manager. What is really sad is that the company had a great year and we reached and outperformed all our goals, but they still are doing layoffs which is really bad (you can verify this online). At least if the company isn't doing well it makes sense, but it's just bad morale, bad vibes rn. They are worried about competition (if you know which company, rhymes with codify)

Pros

Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Good product.

Cons

Disorganisation. Commute can be hard.

Pros

Lots of great collaboration, get to work with a lot of smart people from different backgrounds and Audible/Amazon offers lots of trainings/workshops for new technology. There is always something you can learn!

Cons

Communication needs improvement, lack of career roadmap/leveling for contractors and several recent layoffs (these are specific to contractors)
