Pros

There wasn’t many pros besides a few good people who worked there. Aka speech physiologist and OT. I would say the BCBAs too but they all quit within 2 months of each other…

Cons

THERE IS NO CAMERAS and there is staff there that are in a couple that like to “play house” with your children! They also vape in front of children in side the building and HR was told and ignored even with witnesses and one camera to capture them smoking and god who knows what happens in the bathrooms. I have seen the staff be aggressive, ignore, talk back, and punish these children. They don’t come to work to work that’s for sure. If they are forced to work the kids programs then they complain and would say how terrible the BCBA was for telling them to DO THIER JOB! this industry is a lot of Cookie Monster pajama pants kinda of energy due to minimum education required and they see a higher number so they apply. And this company doesn’t put the client or even their own staff first. All they care about is making more money. This company says “it’s all for the kids” but in reality that’s far from the truth and If it was the “truth” I would still be working there and the 4 BCBAs who quit might not have if the company wasn’t terrible enough towards either them or the children.

Great place to work. Company full of people who are kind, care about the kids they serve, and care about each other.

Pros

The kids and some coworkers, those two stars are for the kids and my co workers.

Cons

Pay is extremely low(no bonuses only bcbas get those, no incentives if your not a bcba, raises are a joke some get a penny raise others get ten cents to twenty five cents. Management does not communicate but get upset because you can't read minds, or you weren't glued to teams because that's how they communicate by messenger or on the teams walls. TCs are not involved with parents meetings and often feel in the dark about clients. Training is non existent. Management- the managing bcba could do with some aba to learn some social skills and some training in how to be a boss not a warden. Kids are neglected (not fed, not changed when dirty diper hanging down to knees) no consequences for the neglect. Benefits (sick and vacation time is used when you call out and they force you to use it so vacations or saving time for personal time is impossible). Sick policy don't call out but make sure you stay home when the managing bcba has an important trip to disney. Work life balance sucks- they have you believing that this job is your whole life. No staff meeting where staff can present their concerns because no one cares. Got written up for missing two days to care for my sick daughter who had a double ear infection with green mucus coming out and when my husband had mental health issues and needed me to take control and get him help. They said it's an uptick like it was 100 days I miss. Money centered business model instead of client focused.
