Pros

A lot of nice people. I think that most of my managers have actually wanted me to succeed, which is nice. Good work life balance (37.5 hour week). 401k matching AND a pension (fully vested after 5 years).

Cons

Not much to strive for, so its easy to get into a dead end position and have no way out. Lots of consultants, many of which have no business being in IT. Education and prior experience mean next to nothing to the company. Even the certifications/designations that they pay for you to take end up giving you a bonus (a vast majority are <$300 bonus for 3-5 exams) instead of a salary raise. Salary is quite low, and it takes 5-10 years of accruing bonuses and raises to start feeling like you are well compensated (or so I am told - haven't been there that many years yet).

Pros

Amazing people. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing milieu. I love my internship and i am getting paid pretty well for an intern.

Cons

I am in claims so it is pretty redundant in tasks even though no claim is the same.

Pros

Competitive compensation and the company does have benefits (eg. Vacation + Health Insurance)

Cons

*Documented Concerns Met With Silence: Formal grievances regarding training failures, safety concerns during hostile policyholder disputes, and management practices are met with complete non-responsiveness. This gives the impression that HR exists to buffer leadership, not to resolve operational or safety issues. *Unsafe Claim Assignment Practices: Management consistently forces complex, high-exposure claims onto adjusters far outside their designated experience level or tier authority. These improper assignments place both the employee and company at severe, unnecessary risk. *Lack of Leadership Backing: When field or desk adjusters face hostile, volatile confrontations with insureds, management routinely abandons staff rather than offering real-time support or direction. *Quiet Admission of Systemic Failure: Leadership has only recently begun adjusting claim distribution practices to align assignments with actual experience levels—a reactive overhaul that directly validates how fundamentally flawed and inadequate prior training and management protocols were. *Non-Existent Onboarding Framework: Adjusters are expected to navigate complex internal procedures with zero structured mentorship, clear training frameworks, or foundational operational support.
