Pros

Cafeteria is great. Bonuses are pretty good.

Cons

Management and salary. They have lower salaries than other companies in the area. When the issue gets brought up, they tell you to think of the bonuses as part of your salary. They'll also mention how you shouldn't expect bonuses and they are just bonuses, not part of your salary. Apparently it's just an easy diversion to get employees to drop the problem of less competitive pay. Management lets certain workers slack (one employee in my area would often take naps), while being extremely strict on others. They rely on those with good work ethic to carry the department while some of the others slack off. The lazy workers get transferred around instead of being fired. Slowly working their way into middle management, and the cycle continues.

Pros

Amazing people. Amazing atmosphere. Amazing milieu. I love my internship and i am getting paid pretty well for an intern.

Cons

I am in claims so it is pretty redundant in tasks even though no claim is the same.

Pros

There is a lot left to be desired, the primary "Pro" would be co- workers

Cons

In my opinion, AO is short sighted and concerned only for the higher ups. Departments are forced to be silo-ed and have built a culture that even walking into a another area of the same floor makes you feel out of place. Decisions are made from a top down perspective, meaning they are worried about their bottom dollar instead of what is in the best interest of everyone. The front line workers receive a low salary and a cap on profit sharing of 15% while managers get 2x that amount, with the higher you climb the bigger the bonus. Employees are seen as disposable and are treated as such.
