Automation Anywhere Response
6yHello --
Thank you for your candid review. We're sorry that you had a bad experience. To respond quickly to the items you mention:
* Chaos: blitz-scaling is tough, and certainly feels chaotic at times. We feel that "no process or collaboration" is probably hyperbole, as the facts are that we're shipping complex software regularly, and we've got loyal customers that highly value our software and services. We certainly aspire to ever-better process and collaboration -- especially since what worked yesterday typically won't work tomorrow, given the rapidity of our change and evolution.
* Cross-regional collaboration difficulties: it's unclear what your difficulties were specifically, but we've done some management and leadership development workshops with teams that collaborate between the US and India, and identified that there are some effective practices, as well as some challenges to overcome, and we have a team of engineering leaders who are aware of and who are working to address the issues.
* Overcrowding: True. We're once again bursting at the seams thanks to growth that seems to continually outpace our ability to lease and configure new office spaces. Even with the opening just over a month ago of our third building in San Jose, we're again nearing full capacity.
* Pay: we continuously benchmark our pay to ensure it's competitive and that we're able to woo excellent and talented people. We've also hired a new global leader for compensation to ensure that our strategy is sound and well-executed. It's true that equity compensation is a major component of the total compensation package, as is the case at most technology startups, and that's why we're all working hard to ensure that the "somewhere" it goes is up and to the right of where it is today.
Thank you again for raising these issues and providing the talent community with your insights into our challenges and opportunities.
