Pros
I have been at Avanade for almost two years and I’m seeing a real focus on employees experience lately. They have recently brought back an in person training for new Managers and Directors, every new Canadian hire now goes to Chicago for a 4 day onboarding, they do an employee survey twice a year and communicate results and new initiatives, they recently bumped the vacation for junior employees to 3 weeks to start and they seem to be investing in their Career Advisors. The Toronto office has a good vibe. There are lots of events happening like Toast Masters, Game Nights, Charity Events and Lunch and Learns. Communication is also pretty good.
Cons
Avanade is a big company and b/c of that processes can be tedious. They are currently working on re-vamping the outdated performance management system.
