Lots of games being played at the senior management level. Staffing profiles are proposed to clients prior to discussing the opportunities with consultants. Role discussions generally last 5 minutes, giving little to no job description or background on the engagement. Very little communication from high-level project leads make expectations on tasks and deliverables nebulous or unrealistic.
