Pros
Good if you want to be enslaved
Cons
Modern day slavery. No work-life balance. Expects you to be online 24/7 and reply on weekends. Hiring offshore team members without responsibility and risk for them to lose money. You are disposable. High turnover rate on guest experience team. Marketing and field ops teams are overworked. Too much work for 1 person, You are juggling the work of 3 people and expect it to be done immediately. Impossible expectations. No clear direction on what the coverage of your work is based on your title. It ends up that you'll tend to do the work of others that is not even in your scope, with no guides from the management. Promotes overwork by saying you have a flexible time schedule. Toxic positivity and micromanagement at its finest. Uses time tracking tools. For what? Funding issues in a department? Then remove these unnecessary tools. Everyone is overworked and underpaid. Management is incompetent and does not qualify to have the skills. Will not listen to the suggestions people on the bottom chain are saying. I know a few people who only sleep and chat through their whole shift, not really doing any tasks for themselves but passing the tasks to someone lower than them, yet they get compensated generously, get annual increase, and have a good work arrangement.
