Pros
some hard working, decent people remain, but all have updated resumes and ready to leave
Cons
Avantor acquisition brought toxic alpha-male management team with them and is hiring clones. No diversity in senior leadership - not a single woman in ELT - it's 2019, get with the program. People are leaving in droves due to bullying and micromanagement by senior leaders at key sites - to the extent that all requisitions over $1000 need senior leader approval. Seriously?? This isn't a corner hardware store!! Quality and Safety issues at sites due to rush decisions made without proper evaluation or planning. Unrealistic expectations being set which are indirectly forcing people to cut corners in a very hostile environment. No one dares to speak up. Expect public humiliation if you don't blindly agree with senior leaders. No respect for people in general or differing opinions. The lack of senior management manufacturing expertise is dumbfounding. Plant teams have to pick up the slack (and heat) for poor planning decisions made at clueless executive level. Lousy planning makes for lousy execution - there's no keeping up with constant mindless changes or knee jerk reactions due to an executive leader's unfounded gripe. Can't meet customer orders due to poorly implemented production systems at sites - materials may be lost within a warehouse for days.
