Pros

It was another university for me Grooming under LEAN culture experience in working in a well structured MNC company Rotational training Had the opportunity to do lot of continuous improvements projects Had the opportunity to work under a very pressurized situations Had the chance to meat Meat CEO, VP s other top level managers

Cons

Standard of GOLD programme In south Asian region is lower than rest of the regions that is how they groom GOLDs. rotations, training etc mainly due to no budget allocation for the programme and no chance to get involved in to global projects like GOLD s in other regions. Salary scale for GOLDs in the country i worked at was lower than average salaries in the country There was no clear career path although GOLD program me says it fast track GOLDs other employees with similar or less qualifications were promote to higher positions before GOLDs overloaded work as GOLDs engage in every business functions managers in each department doesn't have a understanding of total work load of the GOLD concerns only on meeting the particular targets given by him/her when ever a overseas training comes like lean immersion GM and finance manager are reluctant to send golds because of the budget has to be bared by the country office
