Countless opportunities to lead and take on new projects, compensation package is very attractive, company has focused on and adopted Lean principles across the business to improve efficiency and yielding greater profitability, which reaps strong rewards even when Sales are soft. Business model is sound, strategy is appropriate, goals are now tightly matched to metrics and the metrics are kept up and managed continuously.
Cons
Management is emotional and volatile, monthly calls with TOP 200 turn into screaming matches with lots of name calling, foul language, and knee jerk quick fix actions. Reporting calendar is so tight that getting quarter end reporting done to meet requirements requires inordinate amounts of overtime in a narrow but often repeated sequence with no recognition for the extra effort.....ever. The Materials Group seems to have better leadership than the RBIS Group.
