Pros
Busy environment in which you have a lot to deal with so it's a pretty good learning experience and probably looks good on a resume. You interact with a lot of interesting people. Decent benefits.
Cons
I've never been reluctant to roll up my sleeves but this company has no clue whatsoever about work-life balance. In my personal experience, I have never seen a greater instance of "it's not what you know, but rather who you know" than Avis Budget. Inept management at the city level and above is just the beginning. There are so many issues with this company and my personal experiences with them that I frankly don't know where to begin. I can think of very little if anything that's right about Avis Budget. Unfortunately, too many people in the regional office either are deliberately turning a blind eye towards the massive problems or are so inept that they don't know. Either way, this is a huge issue that hurts current employees, perspective employees and customers. I don't know how some of these people look at themselves in the mirror or attend church without fear of a giant lightning bolt hitting them.
