Pros
Flexibility and long lasting friendships in the community.
Cons
There are so many cons that I will just highlight a few. 1. Management pretends to care about the community but really only cares about the investment firm - which is known by everyone but only discussed at the senior leadership level 2. No established review or promotion strategy. Promotions are subjective and not based on company or individualized goals - titles mean absolutely nothing because promotions and titles are blindly assigned - with no organized process or explanation. 3. Company”goals” do not focus on anything internal and only focus on external factors to check a box - goals are not about employees, their growth, professional development or overall performance improvement but instead focus on what has already been done and not what needs to improve 4. Toxicity runs most departments and escalation procedures are laughable. Management has the ability to blame without merit and HR turns a blind eye. 5. Absolutely no strategy for growth, marketing or sales… which makes sense because a strategy would hold individuals responsible and that’s not how ACS operates. 6. Benefits are absolutely atrocious.
