Axon, formerly TASER is a chaotic place to work. Experienced, knowledgeable people are terminated and replaced with younger people. The end result is a lack of knowledge and experience that would enable Axon to execute with greater success.
As it is, product development projects are poorly planned and executed. Upper management makes commits to new products without knowing what it takes to develop them. This results in short cuts and a disregard for the use of engineering and product development discipline resulting in blurry body cameras and ECD's with numerous problems.
