- Culture of fear: engineers and other employees are constantly let go with no reason specified - we just get an email saying person X is no longer with Axon. Feels horrible not to know the reasons especially when otherwise great, commited employees are fired
- Collaboration is virtually non-existent. There's no teams at Axon. Just a bunch of individuals trying to work together. The head phones policy (a person wearing a head phone can't be interrupted - Slack first), coupled with very flexible WFH policies, means most people are inaccessible most of the time. Slack is used to communicate with the engineers right by the side as there's really no personal relationships here
- Extremely week leadership where people are forced to work based on fear; zero team building activities; no real options are given for self learning and development; career building here is a non-existent word
