Pros
- Flexi time - Workstation is great - Can work from home (if you have laptop) - Decent benefit (actually only 1 which is medical) - After 2 years can get 20 days annual leave - Exposure to client facing (if in service delivery) or learn new technology (product development) - Transparent discussion between higher management and employees - Clear technical process, with proper project management process - Employee get up to date information on company business and progress
Cons
- There is favoritism among project manager where they always use same person for multiple projects, but others doesn't get any chance, thus demoralizing and limits their career progress - Too many office politics - People only care about themselves only. They use fresh grads just to work with small matters. Only handful fresh grads get opportunity to work with client directly or do complex work. Some fresh grads are given to do more into company event like hari raya, christmas celebration party etc. rather than their actual job work. This should be done by HR or employee club member only. - Bonus is less than a month. Salary increment depends on certain team only. - Speak louder than action from management - HR hire wrong skillset person for designated position. Some hiring person put higher grade post, but this person skills and experience can be doubtful - False promise from hiring manager - Difficult to jump to another team if the other team doesn't like to add people in. - Difficult to change career/job internally as certain team is specializing certain product, thus require experience people only - Higher management value/judge more persons who do company event for promotion, rather than their performance in their job role.
