Business Outlook
Pros
Lots of opportunities to try do activities outside of the day-to-day role if you are proactive. Lots of experienced and supportive colleague, I was given responsibility and 'real' work from day one. 37 hour weeks and flexitime make for a great work life balance.
Cons
Don't get any real say in the role you'll be placed in so it is a bit of a lottery as to whether you'll enjoy the work. The salary is pretty low for the placement considering the locations available, which all have a high cost of living, and the quality of work you will be doing. There isn't any difference between the work expected from a placement and a graduate (who may have the same level of experience if they just did a 3-year course).
