Pros
Within the Finance function, good opportunities for rotation/progression, nationwide development support, performance review process works when done right by a committed manager and a committed employee. Worldwide opportunities if you are patient and look for them. Competitive salary (could always be a little better!)
Cons
Hierarchical. Need to sometimes earn you stripes to gain trust and support from other functions' management. Ageing population in manufacturing/engineering fields.
