Pros

Hourly pay plus time and a half overtime, and interns are one of the only groups who can easily get permission for overtime. Great people, opportunity to learn about and work with departments outside college major. Every other friday off, and no required start and end time each day since pay is by the hour.

Cons

Sometimes the only work available for interns is very dull and tedious, because most projects require a security clearance and BAE does not get clearances for interns. No windows until you've been working there full time for about 10-15 years. The lab has lots of big loud machines in it, bring headache medicine your first week until you get used to it. Getting a full time job at BAE is not any easier having successfully gone through the internship program.

Pros

My pros are my manager and team coworkers. Outside of that not really a fan. I do well at what I do.

Cons

Honestly, ever since new management has come for the upper VPs and directors, a lot has shifted for the negative. Feels very micromanaging when we were told we were doing fine at home and there was no reason to have us come back in the office. Now suddenly we’re being forced back to the office. Other departments and I don’t really get along because there’s a bunch of petty people just trying to get others in trouble and all I’m doing is trying to do my job. Where I am at, everyone just talks all day and then complains about how much work they have.
