Pros
An excellent culture. If you are passionate about the country and/or the military, the mission is easy to get behind. Everyone helps everyone in this industry. The benefits and job stability are real pros.
Cons
They do promote within, but it will take many, many years to climb the corporate ladder. Like all large government contracting companies, they do their best to keep you while not giving you the world. Unless you're day to day work is genuinely interesting to you, you can get complacent and lose interest.
