Pros
While they are becoming a lot larger (have added 2 new offices nationwide in the last year), they still have a family like atmosphere. Their standards of appraisals are very high. Diane Butler (CEO) and other upper level managers/executives are approachable and good listeners. Everyone wants you to succeed. While there is some competition, it is mostly a big team atmosphere. They have worked very hard on ways to make the Appraisal process easier and have listened to what different appraisers need. Researchers/appraisal trainees have starting salaries until their appraisals get going which is very helpful and not always an industry standard.
Cons
Not always a good work life balance, as the appraisal industry is somewhat unpredictable. There are periods of no work and then periods of tons of work. This also depends on who you are working under. Some benefits are lack luster.
