Pros

Get to attend lots of events from NFL games to concerts, you just have to work through the whole thing. Pretty quick to move up. Pay is alright for part time. My seniors in Nashville were pretty great though.

Cons

Lack of structure and accountability. i worked for a year here and was waiting the entire time for my unarmed license. When I quit they refunded me the money for my application since they had never submitted the application. This was after me going through the training and getting fingerprinted for the state.

Pros

There are job advancement opportunities if you work there long enough.

Cons

The initial red flag I notice in orientation was how much profit was emphasized in orientation/training. Which played out to be on brand because the major concern was getting people to post rather than an emphasis on actual job training. A new hire who’s never worked a large event…. Doesn’t matter…. Get them to post. And as you can imagine, issues arise and someone’s going to get chewed for it. There isn’t a true concern about having a good product just putting bodies in a spot to fulfill a staffing order. There aren’t concise and well thought out plans for actually solving issues, it’s typically a figure it out without compromising the bottom line approach. There isn’t much of a “let’s figure this out together” and move forward mentality. Many grew their careers within the BEST bubble, which does show availability of career growth but on the flip side there isn’t much diversity of thought on attacking opportunities/issues. Much more of a let’s do what we’ve always done and hope for the ‘best’ and a sigh of relief if things go well and a witch hunt when the obvious high probability thing happens. A work day feels like battling complacency, tight budgets, and cliquey behavior.
