Pros

I was feeling really supported by my bt for awhile with a lot of check ins and they always responded to my calls and texts. Then they left and I rarely hear from anyone anymore.

Cons

I don't even know who I'm supposed to contact about questions. I have a family cancel and then I have to find a time to make up the hours, but there are no times to make it up because I already have sessions all the time. I used to get support on programs but nobody checks on me anymore...I know I am not the only one that feels this way. I love my clients and their families and I wish I could help them more but idk enough to help them how they deserve.

Our BCBAs are working tirelessly both in the field and in the office daily, and we try our best to ensure they reach out to those under them to check in and feel supported. We are taking your concerns seriously, and are taking active steps to do better. We are currently hiring for a Natural Home Support Manager, who will handle scheduling in the Natural Home department and who will be an avenue for those who need help filling hours due to cancelled sessions. Our BCBAs are also lowering their caseload and meeting with their RBTs at least weekly to offer support and guidance. We value your input, and are putting active steps into improving each department here at BIS.
