Pros

BJC in partnership with Washington University make great strides in advancing medicine.

Cons

BJC lost its right to claim caring and compassion as part of its culture on July 11,2018. BJC blindsided over 100 dedicated IT employees. Leadership Lied and Deceived the entire IT department on how the IT transformation was going to be handled and ushered out these employees leaving tremendous gaps being felt across the organization and with vendors it does business with. Once again IT leadership at BJC has shown no planning, no analysis, no communication, no caring or compassion for the employees or the organization they have placed into a position to lead. Looking at those that were let go you might wonder if it was to weed out the older experienced worker? Those remaining are left wondering when the next round of cuts will occur and many are actively pursuing other opportunities.

Pros

Consistent work flow, communication with doctors/patients

Cons

Communication, leadership, salary. They use PTO accrual so if you dont have enough PTO for a holiday (even though your location is closed) you do not get paid.
