Pros
BMO provides a great balance between work and personal life. When I had knee surgery I was planning to off for 1 month. The HR person at BMO told me to take another 2 weeks off and then start working part time for the next 2 weeks until I was ready to resuem my role. The people at BMO are kind and respectful towards each other.
Cons
BMO doesn't always give fair value when it comes to salaries. They say that they are competitive but I find this isn't always the case. Also, your career growth is quite limited if you are in the IT area and wish to remain technical. You reach a certain level in position and salary and stay there. In many cases you are forced to leave the IT area and enter the Project Management area to get ahead. You are often more recongized with organizing social events then you are implmenting a great solutions.
