Pros

Some would say the income. But you pay a heavy price for it

Cons

Not treated with any dignity, respect, or even a vestige of humanity. Expected to operate like a machine with very little to no time off. By merely taking one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday off in a whole month after 3 months you will be subject to discipline and possible termination. That’s a total of 9 days off in a 90 day period. Far less than the approximately 24 days off most employers would offer during that same period. First line managers and middle managers are often incompetent. Upper management is greedy and insensitive to the indignities and sacrifice rank and file employees suffer on a daily basis

Pros

Great people and strong coworkers across the organization. The company offers competitive pay, strong benefits, and good overall stability. There are many experienced employees who care about the work and are willing to help others succeed.

Cons

The organization can be very hierarchical, which sometimes makes it difficult to drive change or move quickly. Decisions often require multiple layers of approval, so it can take longer than expected to finalize direction or make progress. There is also limited flexibility compared to what many other companies offer, especially when it comes to working arrangements.
